Hello and a warm welcome to Koh Phangan's very first ethical elephant sanctuary, which has finally opened!
Come and join us at Phangan Elephant Sanctuary for a unique experience, where you can spend quality time with a small herd of elephants that have been rescued and now live harmoniously as a family. Witness the elephants relishing their newfound freedom with awe and delight as they communicate through joyful trumpets, engaging in playful activities and exploring their lush jungle habitat.
As a guest, you can anticipate a meaningful and eco-friendly encounter with these magnificent creatures within a small group setting. You will have the chance to personally feed the elephants, accompany them on jungle trails as they forage for food, and observe their interactions with one another as they indulge in a mud bath and engage in playful splashing in their pool. By visiting us, you will also be actively contributing to sustainable and ethical elephant tourism practices.

Elephants do not have a voice, so we want to be their voice by not tolerating
the following points in our sanctuary:

vanessa kah14/06/2023Perfekt !
Dustin Owusu13/06/2023Amazing experience with rescued Elephants. The guides and the hole team is very friendly and gives you professional information about the Elephants. We felt very welcome. got Coffee, water and snacks. We could feed the elephants and had a nice walk with the elephant. It was amazing !
Xaver Bleibinger11/06/2023Had a great time at Phangan Elephant sanctuary. At first you are allowed to feed the elephants with various fruits while the keepers tell you about their past and how they‘re treated. Afterwards you have a „cooking class“, where you prepare small nutritionballs for them. Then we had a small walk with the giants in their natural habitat. You can feel the joy and thankfullness of the elephants. It was such a nice trip and we recommend it. It is a must do when visiting phangan and teaches you about the greatness of nature.
Jessi Heifets10/06/2023What a wonderful activity! We were 5 adults, and 3 kids ages 5-2. We had a great time. They car so much for the elephants ❤️🙏
